Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra is the visionary who was instrumental in establishing Yoga and Nature Cure Hospital under Shanthivana Trust in the year 1987 with the view of spreading the message to the common man that human body has the capacity to provide cure for its own ailments through various drugless therapies.

Accrued fabulous wealth can provide things to enjoy the materialistic world. But can the same wealth bring or achieve peace and contentment for you? "We can buy bed from market but not sound sleep! We can buy medicine but not health! We can purchase luxurious goods. But not tranquility of mind and contentment. By spending lavishly we can have garlands of degrees. But not politeness and values of life". These statements are true forever, values of life such as peace, contentment and bliss can not be found in the external world. They are to be achieved by constant practice with great effort, directing our search in the internal world.
